2000 CD's in my garage...

You are looking at 2000 Cd's in boxes that came to my house today.  Does any body want to help me sell them?   I am super stoked today that the album came in.  I have been waiting for about a month.  They are officially on sale now.  As of this moment you can purchase a hard copy from my website or you can download it online at Amazon.   I am still waiting for itunes to get their act together.  They have "New Music Tuesday" every Tuesday (obviously) so I'm pretty sure it will be up tomorrow.  There will be an itunes link shortly.  Thanks!

Sunday 11/30/08 and the New CD.

Hey guys, we've just concluded our core values series called "The Core" this Sunday morning.  To be honest I'm ready to jump right into the Christmas Season.  I think this year is gonna be great.  We're starting a new series next Sunday called "Bring It - Our Movement to the Manger."  Here are the songs we concluded this series with in worship.

The Holiday Crunch.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday. After almost four years of marriage I think I'm getting the hang of going to three Thanksgiving's.  Now knowing that Christmas this year is only about three weeks away blows my mind.  IT seems like this year the two are closer together than ever before.  I'm trying to stay focused on what's important....remembering to not get caught in the mucky muck of shopping and busyness.  Walking with the Lord leading up to this holiday about Him is more important to me than ever before.  As a worship leader things can get so routine around Christmas the same overplayed Christmas songs....not having any feeling or substance just because I've grown up hearing them played on the radio a billion times.  It seems like something authentic and new needs to take place this Christmas. I believe if we are walking with Him in a more intimate way leading up to Christmas He will be faithful to reveal Himself in a fresh perspective. So in this Holiday crunch take the time to find the King of Kings. 

The Cope's

So tonight the Cope's are over at the "Chateau de Walker."  We are watching Wall-e; it just came out on Video, pretty good.  We had some of Lauren's white chicken chili.  It is so good!  Make sure you email her and get her recipe for it.

Somersaults....

So today Lauren and I were watching "The Office" on DVR because we didn't get to watch it last night.  Anyway, it wasn't my favorite episode, I didn't even finish it.  During this time Lauren put my hand on her stomach to feel little Levi.  He was flipping around and doing somersaults like crazy.  I don't see how she can sleep at night with that little guy spinning around in her tummy.  Crazy stuff.

The Flip Side.

Things never seem to conclude the way you think they are going too.  For almost four months now I have been working on an album that I really believe in.  It is in the finishing stages and will be releasing on December 1st.  You have certain objectives and time frames that you want to get accomplished when you put your hands into something like this.  Just a fair warning, anytime you do something like this, it always takes longer than you think, especially if its your first time doing it.  At least now people can get something fresh for a Holiday Gift! 

P.S. I was talking to my dad who is horticulturalist in the upstate.  He was telling this weekend is going to be the best weekend to drive up through the mountains and see the colorful leaves.  This might be one of the most beautiful seasons of fall I've seen in a while.  If you decide to drive aimlessly through the mountains this weekend make sure you do the following.

1) Get a bag of Golden Delicious Apples off the side of the road. (From an apple Stand)
2) Stop at ONE of the many Antique Christmas Stores that suddenly appear.
3) On your way back down stop and get some rum flavored Icecream.  The kids will really like this! (There's no Alcohol)

You can be sure that Lauren and I will do this when Levi is born, It will be so good!
