I love my Wife....

I absolutely adore my wife Lauren.  I was looking through my hard drive today and stumbled across an old song I wrote for her.  I immediately was taken back to the experience of my writing it for her.  Its funny how songs do that.  Anyway, I'd thought I'd share this song with the world.  Have a listen.

"The Sound for the City"

For about 8 months now the Lord has put a desire in me to see revival take place in the Upstate.  I believe one of the key elements for this is the sound of worship being released in the city.  This is two fold, while I believe it has much to do with musical worship, it also has much to do with the church coming to an unhindered place in their worship.  I believe that corporate worship is for the Body of Christ.  But when you release it outside the walls of the church building your city can't help but be changed.  In our worship and praise the Lord is enthroned and inhabited. So the reality; wherever we go in our worship we carry the presence of God with us literally.

Gas on Monday.....Went Great on Sunday

When you start your monday morning having to go and fill your 1992 Explorer up with 65.00 worth of gas, you know your day is going to be great.

I had a great time with the C3 and Winshape camp leaders this past weekend at Disney World.  I had the honor of going to lead some sessions on worship for their camp worship leaders this summer.  It was really fun being on the resort, however, somewhat of a tease because I was on the resort but didn't get to go to any parks, ah, so sad.  Maybe next time.

I heard my friend Brandon did an outstanding job at CRCC yesterday, If anyone out there is looking for a anointed worship leader, Brandon is your guy!  Plus he loves the local church which is a huge plus now-a-days for when looking for a worship leader.

In the Gym....

I went to PEAK Fitness today.  I've been a member there for about two weeks.  Needless to say, I like it.
Today I was on the treadmill with my ipod.  Before I started, I made myself a sweet play list and then went on my run.  Well, one of the songs was "Noticed" by MuteMath.  The tempo on this song is ridiculously fast.  So the musician in me wants to sync the tempo I'm running with the tempo of the song, as if it was up to my pace to keep the song going.  I was on Level 9 on the treadmill and ran a mile in like 6 minutes.  Well, immediately after I got done I got the tingling feeling in the back of my throat, It wasn't good.

Tuesday....

The band and I had a great time last night at Engage.  This was the last one of the season until the fall.  Stay tuned to the wayfarer website for news and updates regarding the fall.

Got new monitors on stage at CrossRoads today

Flying out to Disney World this coming weekend for some leadership training with these guys.  I am actually the one giving the training this time, (Scary!!)

Is any one in the market for a fairly new big SUV?   I've been trying to sale a Nissan Armada LE for the last two months.  If you're interested I must say this is a steal for this car.

Me and my wife are trying to figure out what we want to do for Vacation, any got any thoughts?

Everyone thinks my wife's blog is awesome.

I might like motorcycles now.....

Steve Keyes email is messed up when he tries to send anything to me.

I sure hope my flights aren't delayed for this weekend.

Seriously let me know if you're interested in the SUV.

"Revive My Heart Again"

About a year ago I wrote a song called "Revive My Heart Again." It wasn't until a few days ago that the song took on a whole new meaning to me.  You see, I really have a heart to see revival take place in my church, my city, and the upstate.  I spend a lot of time interceding for the people that entails.

I just realized however, I don't want to pray, "Lord bring revival to my church, city, upstate, etc." if MY heart isn't being revived to a deeper place with the Lord.  My prayer as of late has been, Lord, take me deeper and revive my heart again, set me on fire for people to watch me burn!"  This is my prayer and the reality I want to walk in, then the petition for others can be birthed out of overflow of what the Lord is doing in me.

I know this is fundamental, but has been such a reminder for me this past week.
