It May be the Stress.....

So yesterday there was a large pain that started in my mouth that I'd never felt before.  It was one of those ulcers; you know that hurt like a beast.   This one hurt so bad that I had to call my friend Ben who is a doctor to prescribe me some Magic Mouthwash.  It relieves the pain for about 5 minutes and then back to not being able to talk because of the huge ulcer on my tongue.  I showed it to Lauren and she said I must be stressed.  I think so.....

Dreaming Big....

Had a conversation with a friend today about dreams.  In my mind I consider this guy a pretty big dreamer.  He turned to me and said that his dreams weren't big enough.  I thought to myself why in the world was he saying this.  Then I thought, you know, the only limitation to our dreams is our own imagination.  God's promises to us even succeed our imaginations.  That's pretty big.  His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways are higher than are ways.  His goodness to us is better than we know.  The fulfillment of our dreams according to His will is nothing for Him to accomplish.

Our Vacation....

I just love our friends Gene and Rosanne!  They let us come hang out with them and we had a free place to stay in the Riviera Mayan! So needless to say we had a great vacation.  So good!   It was good until the last day when the reflection of the sun on the sand fried me to a crisp!  I burn so easy.  While I was down there I bought me some "kayne west" glasses, you know the ones that cover the whole face above the nose.  I had a huge outline of my glasses from the sunburn.  When you go on vacation wear sunscreen....

God is always faithful...

Over the past 2 1/2 years my wife and I have been trying to have a baby.  With no luck we'be been through numerous tests of infertility to find out I had issues with my "boys." (catch my drift.)  Ten months ago from July 1st to be exact, RIch, Ben and I decided to fly out to Bethel Church in California where a revival culture is being established in the area because of all the wonderful things the Lord is doing through people.  While we we're out there I had a lady "prophesy" or give me a "word of knowledge" about my life and she said "I beleive you and your wife will conceive in 10 months."  I thought okay I'll receive this by faith and ask the Lord.  So after we all got back from Cali three weeks went by and I got a call from this lady.  She wanted to call and remind me of the word.  I immediately asked if she called everyone she prayed for to follow up and she said "no, I feel so strongly about this word for you."  Lauren and I have surrounded ourselves around prayer warriors and have travailed in prayer and asked God to heal.  Through many series of  events we felt like the Lord was leading us to do (IVF) which is like a really intense medical procedure that makes people pregnant.  So long story short, July 1st roles around this past Tuesday, Lauren takes a pregnancy test before we go to start IVF the next day and she finds out she's pregnant on July 1st (which is 10 months to the day!)  Needless to say, we didn't do the IVF and I am overwhelmed with the Lord and His faithfulness in our lives.  How good is He.  Jesus, whew!
